Spacious Private Room in Downshill Way London

Great place to stay for this budget. Well recommended Positive: The room is very comfortable for our stay. Worth the price we paid and the host was quite responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Like a scene out of Shamless Positive: location to where we needed was fine lots of shops on the doorstep. Negative: As it’s states it is a shared house, as we entered there was a strong smell of Cannabis within the hallway however couldn’t smell this in our room, our room was ok for what we needed, however rest of the house was filthy, the toilets where not cleaned there was feces in both toilets the sink had dried toothpaste all over it, the shower was again filthy, clearly them who live there dont mind living in filth, the garden was full of butt ends and empty cans, at 4 in the morning we was woke up by banging of doors, when leaving early in the morning we realised the back doors had been left open all night for anyone to enter the property even though we had closed them. Contacted the property only to be told “it’s a shared house” the pictures advertised look nothing like the actual property, save your self the money and sleep in your car

Horrible stay! Do not come here. Negative: Supposedly it was ,,professionally cleaned’’ before we arrived… Didn’t see any of that. The dust and crumbs and OLD FOOD was sweeped underneath our beds. The shower and bathroom was FULL of black mold! The sink didn’t have proper plumbing and the water just ran down on the outside of the wall down into the garden. The neighbourhood is also NOT SAFE! There are drug addicts walking around and the main door of the entire building is NOT closable. Meaning that pretty much everyone can come in at all times. There was also a car on fire right next to our apartment building. Overall we didn’t enjoy our stay one bit!

Positive: This space was comfortable and perfect for my sister and I. We really appreciated having a private space and towels. The kitchen was a great size also. My only complaints were it was a bit messy in the bathroom, there was no toilet paper, and we ran into some non functional outlets/ stove problems. But overall, it was a good experience.
